For a client I started working in Visual Studio to build a addin for Autodesk Revit. In Revit it is possible to create schedules which can be exported, but there are limitations with these schedules. For example it is impossible to export contents of the category DetailComponents to a schedule. Therefor I build this addin which can export all categories in Revit to a XML file which can be opened by Microsoft Excel.
